May 17, 2026"To be honest, I ducked in here out of the rain and, not having had breakfast, thought I'd try "Le Welsh Complet" an intriguing take on Welsh Rarebit, introduced to Flanders during the 1st World War. It turned out to be rather different from the original, but quite delicious and very good value. Glad I tried it!"

I also popped in on the Saturday night with my younger daughter for dinner. She had the entrecote steak which she said was cooked to perfection. I wasn't hungry so opted for the croque monsieur."
